These days it is much harder to establish rapport with people, particularly in the network marketing business. It is tougher to convince people to get hooked with you business because people nowadays are more cautious or suspicious. Maybe because people are more fearful and they are less likely to trust someone they don’t know that well or is a complete stranger to them.

So how do you get someone’s trust? How do you convince them to join your network and build you network at times like this? You will need tons of patience and perseverance and follow these primary steps of network marketing strategies. But first, you have to review the first basic step in network marketing. You need to know that people who became successful in this line of business have a big circle of
Charisma, meaning they know a large number of people. You’ll need this in order for you to build a successful network and the technique in creating a big circle is to influence or invite one person at a time. Then after you’ve invited them, ask for referrals and the cycle goes on.
It just the same in the Internet community, you let people know you through you website, blogs, articles, etc. It’s for you to choose on how you let your presence be known to the Internet community. You provide all means to let people know your presence as well as know you. With this, people will more likely trust you and talk to you.
Establishing Trust
But there are still some people who won’t trust you right away and you have to do something to warm them up. Well, here’s a list of network marketing strategies that might be helpful to you.
1. If possible, use offline advertising. Examples of these are newspapers, radio, flyers, postcards, etc. You might wonder why, but these forms of advertising are also effective. People will get to see you ads a number of time before they get to respond. If your ad is credible enough, then they will trust you and contact you.
2. When you use online advertising, make sure that you use a credible and tested lead source, which has an email autoresponder. This allows you to respond to the people immediately without having any spam complaints.
3. Whenever a person contacts you and agrees to talk to you through phone or may want to see you personally, don’t become too hasty. This a big no-no cause you may push the person away by intimidating him or her. Might as well focus on what they need to know or if you can’t handle this situation because you are a newbie, then ask you upline to accompany you and guide you.
4. After you’ve established trust with your prospect, follow up several times but in moderation. This will build credibility and familiarity. The person will know how serious you are in starting business with him or her. You can also use the autoresponder but don’t depend on it too much. It’s still better to have a one on one conversation with the person.
5. Lastly, be true to yourself. Relax and just talk. Avoid being too pushy about the company or product. Instead, share you experience or story, this will get them curious and in time they will ask questions themselves.
