How To Get Your Ex Back Almost Instantly
I’m an old man. I’ll be the first to admit it. And as an old man, there are a lot of things I don’t do so well anymore. I can’t play baseball, I can’t go mountain climbing and I can’t pretend that I’m 21 anymore. But in 50 years of living, I’ve learned a lot of smarts. And one of them is how to handle relationships. But, I didn’t. And the reason I didn’t is because I learned a few things that saved me from having to hit the bars again.
The first thing I learned to do was listen and understand what it was my wife was angry about. I’d then see her side of it. Even if I didn’t agree with it, I saw her side. For example, if I wanted to take a new job and quit my secure one, and she’d be all over me because it could jeopardize our life, I’d sit down and say to her, “You know, you’re right…this is very risky. It could turn out very bad. But imagine if it didn’t. Imagine that this new job was even better. And you know how much I hate where I’m working. Wouldn’t it be better for you if I came home with a smile on my face instead of miserable all the time? Wouldn’t that make YOU happier?”
Eventually, she would come around to my way of thinking just by sitting down and reasoning with her. And this is just one of the many things I’ve learned over the years. It got to the point where I could tell my wife the most horrible things that I’ve done and get her to forgive me, simply because I knew how to spin it. Heck, we almost didn’t even get married, but with my knowledge of how to handle relationships, I was able to have her come back to me…even though I was totally at fault.
